One vital organ is University engine valves, that’s subjected during operation examination combined thermal, mechanical, corrosion and wear solicitations, that are leading exam severe corrosion and entire breakdown. In this paper were analyzed aspects of valves wear and University active surfaces were coated using University atmospheric plasma spraying method APS with two commercial powders: Ni Al and YSZ. Microstructural analyzes were made on these layers and in addition observations referring to University probability of using them as thermal barrier and anti oxidant coatings. The paper presents University experimental study of University friction in University case of steel/polyamide ball on disk type contacts by contemplating as trying out parameters University temperature, University load and University rotational speed. The tests are completed, for 2 forms of polyamides, on quizzes tribometer which allows rotational motions at small and high speeds, with managed normal loads and temperatures. The tests begin with quizzes one hour walking in at 500 rpm, at ambient temperature.
